Did you know we have a CBS Sports Radio show every Sunday? The Silver and Black Today on CBS Sports 1140-AM in Las Vegas can be heard every Sunday starting at 8am PT. This week, the crew welcomed Oakland Raiders legends Cliff Branch and Phil Villapiano.
A full-to-the-brim radio show this week as we’re joined by Raiders greats Cliff Branch and Phil Villapiano and we hear a post-draft review from The Athletic‘s Vic Tafur.
In the first hour, the Scott Gulbransen, Matt Gutierrez, and Scott Winter give you the SIlver and Black Today view on how the Raiders did in the 2018 NFL Draft. The team was split on some picks and argues on what value the Raiders found this year. They also discuss drafting the best players vs. needs. Raiders wide receiving legend Cliff Branch talks about his omission from the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the Raiders Foundation’s new signature event in Las Vegas in May.
The second hour, the team is joined by Raiders beat writer Vic Tafur from The Athletic. Tafur gives his opinion on how the Raiders did in the draft and talks about reports the team is about to shake up its personnel department.
We close the show with a raucous interview with one of the best interviews in all of sports – Super Bowl 11 hero Phil Villapiano. He talks about his career with the Raiders and why Las Vegas Raiders fans need to learn about the 3 teams anyone who calls themselves part of Raider Nation must hate. We also chat about his continued omission from the HOF as well.
Don’t forget to tune in each Sunday over the air or by downloading the Radio.com app. Also, subscribe to our show archives and our podcast on iTunes or Google Play, and now Spotify.
